Supporting Adolescents, Families, and the Systems That Serve Them

Providing individual and family support alongside consulting for schools, districts, and youth-serving organizations in adolescent mental health, substance use prevention and intervention, and student wellness.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addictions Counselor specializing in adolescent mental health, substance use prevention and intervention, and system-wide approaches to student wellness.

In my clinical work, I support adolescents and families navigating anxiety, stress, substance use concerns, and the complex realities of growing up today. I work alongside young people and their caregivers to build insight, strengthen relationships, and develop the skills needed for lasting growth and change.

Alongside this direct work, I partner with schools, districts, counties, and youth-serving organizations to design and implement coordinated, sustainable systems that improve outcomes for young people.

My work sits at the intersection of clinical practice, prevention science, and systems design, bringing deep expertise in substance use prevention and intervention while supporting the broader landscape of adolescent mental health and social-emotional well-being. With experience leading large-scale youth programs at the district, county, and federal levels, I understand not only how to support individuals, but how to build systems that sustain that support over time.

  • Individuals

Sometimes referred to as counseling or psychotherapy. This is the ideal choice if you are seeking one on one work for yourself or your child with a trained therapist. I collaborate and connect with tweens, teens and adults in an effort to help them separate from the problems that are standing as barriers to the life they want to live. Individual therapy can be helpful to a variety of concerns like anxiety, depression, life transitions, substance use, addictive behaviors or just generally feeling stuck.

  • Family

Life circumstances can cause disruptions in our connections with those we love and care about most. I find great value in working with families where problems are limiting your ability to have the connection you desire.   I provide space and unconditional positive regard to each individual when we gather together and assist you in coming together to conquer the problem as you see it. I specialize in helping parents and caregivers navigate unique challenges such as, parenting through divorce and/or grief, parenting neurodivergent children, parenting someone with addictive behaviors, or the general complexities of parenting through different developmental or transitional stages of life.

  • Coaching & Consultation

Different from individualized therapy, consultation and coaching may be right for you if you have a specific situation or goal that could be supported with brief, goal oriented, solution-focused guidance. I have provided these short-term supports to individuals and families with various needs, to include but not limited to; personal wellness goals, professional goals, sports performance, navigating special education systems, responsive parenting, and licensure supervision for practicing clinicians.

  • Public Speaking

As a seasoned public speaker, I specialize in providing powerful professional development sessions for educators, motivational talks for parents, social workers, and community leaders. My presentations are tailored to ignite passion, spark meaningful conversations, and drive real change within your community.

With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by educators, parents, and social service professionals, I offer practical insights, actionable strategies, and motivational content that not only empower individuals but foster growth and transformation.
